Video games.
 

Videos games should either have there own repo or should be allowed to be updated with very little delay or locks, Debian is in some kind testing mode now.. so the video games in the repos are not able to play online due to them being out of date...they should be only tested for virus etc.. if they having noting to do with the stability of the system why delay them? If you want to get ahead of windows you need to support video games better then this, This could get you a step ahead of Ubuntu.

Also Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory I think is now 100% open source.. so it can be added to the repo, Maybe return to castle Wolfenstein too?

I think you are confusing some things. Debian is always in three modes, Stable, Testing, and Unstable. Unstable is somewhat of a rolling release distro, all changes to software is made here. If no bug is found within 10 days, the software goes to the Testing repository. The purpose of the Testing part of Debian is to prepare the next Stable release. So after some time, usually 1 or 1 1/2 years, the Testing repositories are frozen, and only bugfixes are applied to the software. If there are no more release critical bugs in the frozen Testing, it will be declared the new Stable. In stable, software will never get a version update, only security fixes are applied.

So if you want to be up to date, you have to either use Debian Unstable, or a different distro, I think best for your purpose would be a rolling release distro, like Arch or Gentoo.

Regarding Enemy Territory: The engine of the game is open source, as far as I know, but not the artwork, like character models or textures. Besides that, feel free to become a maintainer for more games in Debian, they need always help.
