Very Very slow ProFTPd server
 

I've just installed my ProFTPd server but is very very slow.

My client (ncftp) wasn't able to execute "ls -lfa", passive mode OFF.

The server is placed behind an NAT gateway whic forward only port 2121 (to server:21)

I should disable passive mode even on the server? It is possible?

if your internet connexion is not slow check the way you forward the port and your configuration of proftpd.

Windows & Linux FTP client different speed
 

I've tried to connect from my university, which works on MS Win PRO, to my ftp serverby ftp command line.
There's no problem!!! Command like ls, mget, mput seems to be normal.
if I use nvftp, or simply ftp my Mac OSX there's no chanche to work!!!
The same command which I tried to lunch on windows weren't possible to finish.

Have some ideas?
