Using two identical USB devices on an Embedded ARM running debian
I have been attempting to control two identical usb cameras from my TS-7300 built by technologic systems that operates with Debian Linux. Drivers have been written to connect to the cameras individually, but in order for them both to get recognized one must be unplugged (run the drivers) then plug in the other and then run the drivers again. This means the board is properly assigning the hardware when the identical devices are not connected simultaneously. Is there a way to tell the hotplug system to recongnize them as different devices when they are connected simultaneously?
