Userland ttys don't display full man-pages.
Basically, all users except root logged into a /dev/tty get a strange error message and only the first screen of manpages displayed ( error is: exit code 256 ). Any ideas?

Actually, the full error message is the following ( Google is angry ):
man: command exited with status 256: /bin/gzip -dc /var/cache/man/X11R6/cat7/X.7x.gz | exec /usr/bin/pager -s I've tried changing to another pager. The problem I think started when I tried the screen program, and it did something with the termcap entries. I don't use termcap, so should I install termcap-compat or something to see what can fix it? |
