Rep: Reputation: 30 should take a look at this article then "The Very Verbose Debian 3.0 Installation Walkthrough". That article made the installation process of Debian a breeze after I dealt with some misc. issues I was having with my PC. On subsequent installations of Debian I am able to install it in about 30 minutes with no hassle.

I will certainly check these out. Thanks for the tip!

Well - it's the only distro that supports FX cards out of the box.Please let me know of others so I get rid of my monoculture here.
