USB stick - unable to umount

Hello,

When I insert USB memory stick all works great - the icon on desktop the window of nautilus browser... All nice and works untill I try to unmount the stick - it tells "device is busy" . (All nautilus windows are closed - no programs read/write to usb stick). I just can't unmount.

Only after running "killall nautilus" I can do it.

What is the problem how can I overcome it?

Don't think you can - the reason why you can't unmount the disk should be self-evident - a part of Nautilus is still using it, and only if you kill that process, does the kernel consider the disk not in use and will allow you to unmount it.
