Upgrade Etch to Lenny via CD installer?

Is it possible to update Debian Etch to Debian Lenny without downloading the dist-upgrade?

I recently downloaded a Lenny ISO, which was about a day ago. I was wondering if I could use that for a dist-upgrade instead of downloading everything. I have small partitions for /var and /usr folder at the moment, so I don't want to download everything. Their free space isn't enough to download the contents for a dist-upgrade.

Is there a way to dist-upgrade via CD-ROM?
Or would I have to do a clean install with the CD-ROM?

You should be able to use apt-get or dpkg with that.
