Angry Unknown option code 'F'.


I have tried to reboot and check the filesystem with '# shutdown -rF now'
like usually, but was greeted by a newest feature:
"Unknown option code 'F'."

what the #$@!

It seems to be caused by systemd (not sure why though). Have a look at this. TL;DR version: the following command should work:

touch /forcefsck
If my understanding is correct, it alters the file system by creating an empty file in /, thus forcing a file system check on the next boot.
