(UNetbootin not working) how to make a pendrive testing installer netinstall?
Since UNetbootin not working, one has to find a way but there is nothing to do a dd command.
http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian/dist...mages/netboot/ I would like to install testing debian from the pendrive |

this results in kernel panic |
ok
well, if you got Unetbootin ready to go I made a small iso and .zip netbootcd installer with plop bootmanager its like 7MB dont burn iso to CD just use Unetbootin to install to usb and reboot it can netinstall ubuntu/deb/mandriva,opensuse,fedora,etc NetBooter.iso && NetBooter.zip http://multidistro.com/downloads/current/NetBooter.iso http://multidistro.com/downloads/current/NetBooter.zip |
dont dd your usb

boot the pc then enter enter load modules, no idea, fighting ok it loads an installer wow then > error not network card found :( damn sky2 and kernel. So the result: uname -a Code:
2.26-2-486 or mzy vmlinuw and initrg.gz are too old http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian/dist...ages/hd-media/ damn :( |
ok on the daily built cdrom, i found files
/mnt/tmp/install.386# Code:
# ls what can i do . the pendrive hangs with boot.img from NL site and those files from daily built |
so, why not go the easy route and use the NetBooter.iso and install via unetbootin?
|

it has new kernel or modules, i dont knwo. that why i tried this route that could have worked. seems like the daily built cannot be put on a pendrive :( NetBooter.iso can it download the daily built of testing? pfff not easy to install debian |
the NetBooter can net-install any variety of debian, ubuntu, etc
testing, squeeze,etc |
yesterday with the debian, I got this error http://gxemul.sourceforge.net/gxemul...c/debian-5.png
I followed through the install procedure of debian okay for multidistro. how does it work to get installed? It is an iso. so iso is cdrom. how could I make it transformed on my pendrive please? it seems that it is a bug from debian installer http://systec.blogsite.org/wiki/inde...found_BL460cG6 Quote:

yeah
the kernel not found thing hits me too... did you try NetBooter yet or no? |
Unfortunately, in trying to mount the drive I've run into some problems. The only one I seem to be able to relate to is the one in my title.
After plugging in the USB device, this message appears in dmesg: Code:
Driver 'sd' needs updating - please use bus_type methods |
you can also boot netbooter off a hard drive partition and net-install
that way as netbootcd runs in ram add this entry to your menu.lst/grub.cfg Code:
title NetbootCD-3.1.2 Code:
menuentry "NetbootCD-3.1.2" { |
