undefined reference to `yywrap' compiling PAM

Does anyone know how to get past this compilation error:

/home/dallas/downloads/Linux-PAM- undefined reference to `yywrap'

I've seen suggestions to downgrade your 'flex' package. Doesn't seem to make any difference.

I'm cross compiling PAM on a Debian 4.0 system. My target is an embedded i686.

Any help appreciated!

In order to solve this problem you need to installl libfl.a which can usually be found in "flex" package (at least in RHEL5 and Debian sid).

Completing the answer of esox_ch, you must do on Debian:

sudo aptitude install flex

And then executing this commands should compile:
