unable to play .ogg files after dist-upgrade
Hello!
I'm kind of new to Linux but was able to set up a well working system some weeks ago. It worked fine until I did a dist-upgrade a few days ago. First I noticed that there were no system sounds anymore (which are .ogg files), then I found out that even noatun won't play my .ogg files. The sound system doesn't seem to have a problem - playing .wav files still works fine (as well in noatun and as system sounds).
To find out what the problem is, I ran "strace noatun [whatever].ogg" but this didn't gave me any kind of helpful information (the last line before it stoped respondig was "read(" - no further information what it was unable to read *g*). So I compared the package depenencies of noatun and kdelibs4 (where knotify seems to be part of) and searched the debian buglist for packages booth applications depend on. I did some google search as well, I even searched in the news groups. I guess this must be any kind of decoding problem in a vorbis lib, but I couldn't find anything. The bugs I found were about completely no sound or just timeshifted (?) sound output
Actually I ran out of knowledge how to trace the problem ;o) Any ideas? (And please excuse my english, I haven't used it for a while...)
