Unable to migrate to dependency based boot sequencing

Hello, when I upgraded from Debian 6.0 or 6.0.1 to 6.0.4 I got this error:

Quote:
error: Unable to migrate to dependency based boot sequencing.
error: Problems detected: insserv: warning: script 'S25libdevmapper1.02' missing LSB tags and overrides, insserv: warning: script 'httpd' missing LSB tags and overrides, insserv: warning: script 'libdevmapper1.02' missing LSB tags and overrides, insserv: There is a loop between service mountnfs and portmap if started, insserv: loop involving service portmap at depth 11, insserv: loop involving service lwresd at depth 10, insserv: loop involving service ifupdown at depth 6, insserv: loop involving service mountnfs at depth 13, insserv: loop involving service networking at depth 11, insserv: There is a loop between service mountnfs and portmap if started, insserv: loop involving service sysklogd at depth 14, , package modutils removed but not purged, package nfs-common removed but not purged, package openbsd-inetd removed but not purged, package portmap removed but not purged
Things which are "removed" are still there:
rc openbsd-inetd 0.20050402-6 The OpenBSD Internet Superserver
rc modutils 2.4.27.0-6 Linux module utilities

Because of this errors I cannot boot my custom kernel, it only boots default debian kernel. So my question is how to fix this? My current version is Debian 6.0.5

Have a read: http://wiki.debian.org/LSBInitScript...dencyBasedBoot

Or if you're lazy, purge everything it mentions and reinstall it once you've finished the upgrade and migration.

I purged packages: portmap, openbsd-inetd, nfs-common, modutils and libdevmapper1.02 (instead i installed libdevmapper1.02.1)

Since I don't use NFS I guess system can work without those packages.

Run:

Code:
# dpkg-reconfigure sysv-rc
Then reinstall whatever you need.
