ballisox LQ Newbie Registered: Jul 2005 Posts: 1 Rep:	hotplug and udev boot errors What's up. I was running into the same issue once I upgrade to kernel 2.6.15-1-i686-smp As suggested above I ran the commands: dpkg --force-all -P udev apt-get install udev dpkg-reconfigure linux-image-2.6.15-1-686-smp And reboot my system. It worked perfectly. Thanks yo! Debian unstable Gentoo Slackware XP
