Unhappy Tryin' to install debian thru Knoppix but kernel panic

Hi everybody.
I'm trying to install debian thru Knoppix (V3.3) but after I boot and its detecting some hardware, it says:
Code:
kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler
in interrupt handler - not syncing
After I searched google there were some unanswered issues, so I didn't understand what should I do!
Please, help me...

Try installing Debian using Debian 3.0 cd!

Here's a pretty good guide on installing it.
