YOUR GRAMMAR SUCKS........... IT WAS AN INSULT

routers 10-14-2005 03:01 AM

Hey LQnewBee,

With an attitude like yours, I don't see too many people actually helping you. You're criticizing the one person who has responded to you so far, and there's really no need for it.

I suggest you head on over to a Malaysian website and see how well you do with grammar! routers is trying to help, and doing the best he can. Just because his posts aren't 100% grammatically correct doesn't mean you can't understand what he's saying!

Pull your head out of that dark smelly place it seems to be, and try taking his advice.

Good luck,

Matt

dang dude, he's from malaysia, give him a break, heck i speak english but sometimes my grammer aint perfect! and just cause someone doesnt run debian doesnt mean they cant help

not sure if you meant kde and not kdm

try installing x-window-system, this is a bigger more inclusive package that x-window-system-core, then try installing gnome or kde(m)

ssfrstlstnm 10-14-2005 12:46 PM

how did you try to install kde and gnome? Apt can usually take care of all dependencies.

A good & kind thought.

One of the benefits of putting your geographical location (as he did) in your profile, is that it allows us to cut you some slack, when appropriate. ("Third rock" may be cute, but not very helpful is this.)

A practical Q: Anyone have any suggestions for on-line grammar improvement resources? Esp. ESL oriented.

To LQnewBee, if it's of any interest, I found your English worse than his & already put you on my ignore list so not to be pained by looking at it. Sorry dude, no help from me.
