total newbie type question-where do i find the good links for /etc/apt/sources.list?
 

Please don't yell at me if you think the question is stupid. I'm a Debain newbie.

Maybe try apt-get.org , you can search for packages there some are unofficial though

Or try backports.org. They're a good choice as well.
