Tired of Grub! (Debian Sarge AMD64)

Hi ppl,

I've just installed sarge for AMD64 and it is the fastest amd64 distro i've tried! But I have a problem. Grub doesn't like my Windoze partition (i dunno why, maybe it is corrupted or the prob is that it is ntfs and SATA), so I would like to use lilo.
I've thought of doing this:

Code:
apt-get install lilo
[create my lilo.conf]
lilo
Is that correct? should i remove grub first? Is there anything else I have to take into account?

thanx in advance.

If lilo doesn't throw up an error, you should be fine. No, you don't need to remove the grub package.
