testing -> stable

Hi!
I've been running debian testing but i'd like to change to the new stable version when it is released. How and when should I update my sources.list and do I have to run any special commands afterwards?

easy.....just change the word testing to sarge.......i would suggest doing it now...

sarge points to testing but after the release it will point to stable.....

In your '/etc/apt/sources.list' file, change 'testing' into 'sarge' (the name of the current testing version which hopefully goes stable at the end of this month).

This way your transition to stable will occur automatically.

The Sarge sources have been running very smoothly lately. Make the change now.
