tasksel &aptitude
 

hi,
i have problem with tasksel & aptitude
i added all 2 dvd's ,but i have not complete list in my tasksel and aptitude.
whats problem?

what are you missing from the list? what version of debian are you using?

i use sarge. it must have some other task like "development tools" .
how can i fix it?

my method isnt efficient but, it works. use a gui packmanager to search for packs that contain "development" and select the packs that you want to install. i'm not sure if this the info that you want. hope this helps.

i use follow command for install development tools myself. its better than search in synaptech:
aptitude install gnome-devel
