Hi,

these are the exact same errors you were getting before. It is because you have not yet imported the keys of the deb-multimedia.org or mozilla.debian.net repositories.

Hi,

ok, once more (as in post #6 with correction from post #10). As your normal user, please run the following:

gpg --keyserver subkeys.pgp.net --recv 85A3D26506C4AE2A
gpg --export --armor 85A3D26506C4AE2A > tmp.key

The two commands above do the following.
1. Download the mozilla key from the subkeys server and store in your gpg keyring.
2. Export the mozilla key from your keyring into a file called tmp.key

Next, as the root user do:

apt-key add tmp.key

This imports the mozilla key from the file tmp.key into apt. Here tmp.key is the same file that you created as your nomal user so you need to either be in the same directory (using cd) or specify the full path.

You need to repeat all three steps for each key you want to add. The above procedure is for the mozilla key, you will need to do it again for the deb-multimedia key, 07DC563D1F41B907

I looked at the command:
<#apt-get install pkg-mozilla-archive-keyring> and really studied it and compared it to deb-multimedia.
So I tried typing in the terminal:
<#apt-get install pkg-deb-mulimedia-archive-keyring> the terminal returned:
Unable to locate pkg -deb-multimedia-archive-keyring
So I tried again only this time I eliminated the words pkg and archive and it worked.

I ran <#apt-get install deb-multimedia-keyring> it worked and afterwords I was able to run apt-get update!
What really helped me was this page:

Eairlier in the thread you advised me to look up mv and cp.
mv file1 file2, mv -i file1 file2, and mv dir1 dir2 and cp file1 file2, cp -i and cp -R dir1 dir2
I found the rule for all 3 ways to use move and all 3 ways to copy and wrote them down.
Once I use these methods a few times I'm pretty certain I will have the gest of it.
