stable package in an unstable system

Hi,
Is it possible to install package that exist only in stable (webmin) in a system that is unstable ?

I heard about backport but it works backword (install unstable package in a stable system ) I think ...

Any I dea why the webmin doen't exist in sid ?

It's buggy and poorly supported ... Such packages don't last long in Debian
