Soundblaster Audigy2 Card not working w/ ALSA

Sound card works fine with Knoppix CD
Have loaded alsa but alsaconf says no supported cards found?
How do I upgrade Debian or ALSA to find my card?
ALSA web site says card is supported.
I have upgraded to Debian 3.1 but still card not found

Thanks

sound card in sarge

Please search LQ forum for audigy setup in sarge. There are many posts regarding that card. Google that card setup in sarge too. You may find http://www.togaware.com/linux/survivor/ audio section useful too. Good luck.
