There is a manual you know: http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/manual/ (not to say RTFM but the manual does provide a very detailed look at what you need to do for installation)

Maybe http://www.osnews.com/story.php?news_id=2016 will help. It's written for woody but it's good enough.

OK, this is not an installation guide, but it has lots of useful stuff you need to know to actually run a Debian system. It's good to read this before you install Debian and it's good to read this again after you've installed Debian.
http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/re...erence.en.html

Also, don't forget to read macondo's sticky thread at the top of this forum about things you can do after you've installed Debian. There's a good reason why it's marked sticky.

All the above mentioned links are good reading, but when you go about installing, I think it's worth having this post (by macondo, but not the sticky) printed:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=261506

Good luck.
