sid non-us mirror?

Hi,
I've decided to use sid/unstable :)..just to try it out. Now, the problem is that I can't get the non-us mirror to work : can't get the packages files when I edit sources.list and do apt-get update
here is my sources.list file atm:

deb cdrom:[............
deb http://uk.debian.org/debian unstable main contrib non-free
#no probs so far. but when i add:
deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-us unstable/non-us main contrib non-free

it no can do :(
any clues?
andy

netselect is the answer!

:study: Read Section 2.3 of the APT Howto and learn the secret of netselect.

The best thing about netselect is that it makes lovely, fully formed sources.list's out of thin air. No muss, no fuss, no attempting to suss out just what the h*ll RMS is going on about.

HTH,
Ab.

p.s. The APT HOWTO is one of the better written and more approachable Debian manuals. Highly recommended. Gets a bit obtuse from time to time, but much less than most.

My pleasure.

The second worse thing about bad documentation (after having to read it and coming away no wiser) is that it convinces you that there's no point in looking.
