Should I move on to the next Testing "Buster"?
I started using Linux back in the days of Soft Landing and kernel 0.99.15, and so am very much familiar with the joys of playing with bugs and quirks, but for the past sixteen years or so, I have come to appreciate the stability of Debian Stable. Although I swore I would never upgrade to a newer version of Debian since "Potato" (why would anyone want a distro by any other name), there were functionalities in the newer Testing that I needed. Since I went to Testing "Woody" (that name never sat well with me), I have been using Debian Testing ever since. Now that "Stretch" is the new stable, I find myself feeling oddly unsatisfied not get huge updates every morning. Can anyone give me a good reason to edit my apt sources.list and continue to the new Testing "Buster"?
