i just installed SuSe and i have a linksys Router. I wanna be able to access my internet, how the heck do i configure it or whatever. Please gimme an easy to understand reply, im not too good with this linux. All I know is that i have Suse 9.0 and a linksys router and wanna use the net. thanks

Linksys... great.... I've had so many problems with their stuff
Connect your internet into the port on the router labeled WAN or Uplink
Connect you pc to the port labled 1
power up the modem, then the router, then the pc
access the router setup page (192.168.1.1 or something)
put in your user name and password for the ISP
with a little luck that'll work
try being a little more descriptive when you ask questions.

It looks like the router is working...
Can you ping the router?
Can you access the router webpage?
Make sure it is set to use the IP address you have been assigned, or automatically obtain one.
Can you connect to other computers through your network?
Try to troubleshoot to see whether the problem is in your lan or between the router and the ISP.
