Setting Date in debian sarge

I have a debian sarge server. I'm trying to set the date correctly. Now it displays

Sat Jan 29 21:04:32 EST 2005

I can change every field, except the EST part. How do I change it to BRST (brazilian time) in the cli (I have no X in it)?

Here's what I did to get that:
Code:
frye0031@10.0.0.17:~$ apropos timezone
timezone (3) [tzset] - initialize time conversion information
tzselect (1) - view timezones
and tried the first one on the list. Try apropos anytime you're stuck!
