Scroll with arrow keys in the terminal window?

Is there a way I can scroll using the arrow keys in the terminal window? At the present time I can only scroll down by hitting the space bar. When I do this, the window scrolls down an entire page at a time.

Like in viewing man pages? The default pager in Debian is more and it only allows scrolling downwards one page at a time (using the space key). You'll probably want to install less (that should automatically become your new default pager). With less you can scroll documents upwards or downwards, using arrow keys or PageUp/PageDown. You can exit less any time by pressing the Q key.
