sbackup-gtk on Debian?

I replaced a messed-up install of Ubuntu 11.10 with Debian 6.04. I was using Simple Backup (sbackup-gtk) to back up my /home folder to an NAS.

To my horror it looks like sbackup is not in the Debian repositories. Will it run on Debian 6.04? If so, how to I get it installed?

If not, can someone recommend an easy to use (preferably gui) backup program that can store the contents of my /home directory on my NAS?

BTW... the NAS can be accessed via ftp. I'd rather use that than mount it.

Thanks!

Thanks for the info. I'll read thru the wikis and tutorials. I tried luckybackup but couldn't figure out how to connect to my NAS. Also tried Backuppc but found it rather daunting. I'm hoping for something simple. I can't tell my ass from my elbow when it come to BASH scripting.
