saving streaming audio
I would like to be able to save reasonably high quality streaming audio to disc and for later burning to a cd. I'll be using Debian Lenny. Can someone suggest the easiest way to accomplish the task, complete with converting the files to a .wav file? It would be wonderful if I could use a siliar method with my Centos 5.4 or Slackware 12.1 machines.

I have never tried it, but Jack might do this.
http://jackaudio.org/ I have used Jack to record audio along with RecordMyDesktop and it worked fine. |
