firstly, add this line into /etc/apt/sources.list

deb ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian sarge main contrib non-free

secondly, open konsole, and as root, type

apt-get dist-upgrade

To upgrade you have to become root using
"su root" in a console like xterm or aterm..
type your password

then:
"apt-get update" = Update the package lists

"apt-get upgrade" = Upgrade all installed packages

grtz

ps: if apt doesn't work check out if your /etc/apt/sources.list is correct

Re:Sarge update

I don't think Sarge has a burnable iso,at least until it becomes the new stable release. It's the testing version as of now. So,you'll either have to wait until after the 30th or do a netinstall then run apt.THe only rthing burnable is the netinstall, unless you want to do it yourself, but you'll still have to put it together yourself.
