Sarge Unstable??????

I am running Debian sarge with kde 3.3 and I uninstalled all the gnome packages, taking care not to uninstall any neccessary ones.

Now my computer will decide that it wants to freeze up or slow down so I have to restart it. What could the problem be???

It sounds like you might have messed up and wiped out a few "necessary ones" by accident. As to which one(s), I don't think we can tell at this point.

You can try apt-get install --reinstall kde and see if that fixes the slowdown...
