Sarge/TVOut/GLX

I installed the weekly sarge tonight, and am having TVOut problems with my nvidia whatnots.

I've noted that if my composite cable is plugged into the TV when X is starting, X will just crash. There's a quick fix to this which works fine for getting X to run while my card works it's TwinView magic onto my TV screen, which is setting my XF86Config-4 file to not load GLX. But the thing is, I've never experienced that with any other distro, and I'm kind of fond of GLX, what with it's making it so that my computer can display things that are pretty. Hell, I can't even run the screen savers that I like without GLX.

So is there a super special debian way to make it so that GLX and my TVOut options can both load without crashing X?

Not helping here sorry, but I had the exact same problem, couldn't work out why until someone here suggested disabling GLX. I'm building a single-head TV-only Myth box though, so GLX isn't so important in my case.. Do you get this problem on other machines with Nvidia cards or just the one?

This is the only machine I personally own, so I've only experienced it with this one. I've set up linux for other folks on their stuff, but I can't think of anyone who's tried to use TwinView.
