Sarge CD image brken?

Hi!

I tried to use this weeks Sarge cd 1 image and it does not seem to work whatever I do.

First I downloaded one from the http/ftp servers. I tried an install from hd-media, but when it found the iso file it told me that it cannot download kernel headers and it could be due to different verisons (between the installer image and the .iso one).

Then I tried to burn it several times using different burnes with the same result. The install starts but when it reaches the step when it looks for CD it tells me that this is not a debian CD.

I also downloaded one via jigdo, same result...

Has this happened to someone else too? Any ideas how to go further?

So get an older version... you still going to install the same packeges... it's just the installer that get's updated...

I've successfully used this week's Sarge CD, disks 1-4, so no they're not broken. My guess is that you've overlooked something in the CD-burning process that prevents it from being useable.

Look in http://www.debian.org/CD/faq/ and review the sections "How do I record a CD-R under XXXX" carefully.
