samba: Unable to open/create TDB passwd

hi

knows someone why I get this error message:
Code:
# smbpasswd -a linux
New SMB password:
Retype new SMB password:
Unable to open/create TDB passwd
pdb_getsampwnam: Unable to open TDB passwd (/var/lib/samba/passdb.tdb)!
TDBSAM version too old (0), trying to convert it.
TDBSAM converted successfully.
Added user linux.
I have Debian Sarge Stable and Samba 3.0

greetings
cccc

Hello there,

I stumbled across this whilst looking for something else. You get it because passdb.tdb (the tdbsam backend for smbpasswd) is not present. It gets created the first time you use smbpasswd. You should be ok after that.
