restore debian menu in kde

I used to have a debian menu entry in the kde menu sctructure, that has disappeared since I've upgraded kde from unstable. Is there any way to restore it ? It seems that some app don't show up in the kde menu : kino 7.1 for example didn't appear, but I am sure it's in that elusive "debian menu"

Anybody know what I am talking about ?

Thanks all !

I believe you are looking for menu-xdg or just the menu package itself I have both installed and forget which one it was that got the Debian menu back.

Thanks so much! The menu program worked for me. I've been seeing my Debian menu appear and disappear with various updates for a while now, and I've been getting rather frustrated with it. I just typed "update-menus" into the command prompt, and there it was! Awesome!

The only problem is that it seems to have wiped out all of the customized entries I had made. Oh, well. They weren't that important to me anyway.
