remove clean Bind 8 from Debian Sarge

hi

I've removed BIND 8 from Sarge with:

# apt-get remove bind
# apt-get clean

and installed BIND 9:

# apt-get install bind9

but I still have BIND 8 startup scripts links in:

/etc/init.d

and in:

rc1.d - rc6.d

should I delte manually or howto delete all this scripts automatically ?

kind regards
cccc

Have you tried
Code:
apt-get --purge remove bind
For details, see http://www.nl.debian.org/doc/manuals....html#s-remove.

Cheers,

mj
