reiserfs not unmounting during shutdown

well, i'm actually not sure what's going on.

running sid with kernel2.6.9-1-686

when i'm shutting down, one of the last lines that flashes up before the screen blanks is segmentation fault

when i restart, it shows the file system was not cleanly unmounted, and replays a bunch of transactions (reiserfs 3.6)

i don't even know if the two events are related.

i don't see anything in kern.log or syslog about a segfault (maybe logger has stopped by that point??)

where should i look for more info, or does anyone know what my problem might be? (besides using unstable with the latest kernel)

i've cought the terminal output at shut down
it's something like
...
#checking local filesystems - none busy
#unmounting local filesystems - remounting readonly
#segmentation fault
#done
...

are they supposed to remounted just before shutdown, even if it is readonly?

the drives recover fine so far, but replay 10-50 transactions on check.
