Real VNC

I see on the website that you can run Real VNC on Linux, is there an easy way to install this in Debian? Or, is there a better program to run where I can log in from Windows at school with the use of a program and work on my machine at school? (I get bored sitting in class for 5 hours)

SSH is much simpler and safe. It is text only however, so if you need the GUI, it won't work for you. WIndows$ uses a free SSH client called putty, but I'm sure there are others as well. SSH is nice because the data is encrypted. The free version of VNC does not encrypt data, so anyone with a packet sniffer on the network can see both your username and pass. VNC can be installed. Debian stable has these packages -
vnc-common - Virtual network computing server software
vnc4-common - Virtual network computing server software
vnc4server - Virtual network computing server software
vncserver - Virtual network computing server software

And I'm sure others as well. If you really need VNC, then look on the site here and at google/linux for instructions on how to run VNC over an SSH tunnel. That can protect your data.

Peace,
JimBass
