Quotaon: cannot turn on the quota.

Hi All:

I want to turn on the quota feature in the Debian 3.0.
The error msg is:

quotaon: can't find //quota.user on /dev/hda2 [/]
quotaon: can't find /data1/quota.user on /dev/hdc1 [/data1]
quotaon: can't find /data2/quota.user on /dev/hdd1 [/data2]

However, I fount the file "aquota.user" in these mount points.

The /ets/fstab is as follow:
# <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
/dev/hda2 / ext3 defaults,usrquota 0 2
/dev/hda1 none swap sw 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/fd0 /floppy auto user,noauto 0 0
/dev/cdrom /cdrom iso9660 ro,user,noauto 0 0
/dev/hdc1 /data1 ext3 defaults,usrquota 0 2
/dev/hdd1 /data2 ext3 defaults,usrquota 0 2

Pls. help!

Thanks.

Do you have quota enabled in the kernel, if not you will have to recompile the kernel to do it.
