I upgraded to Debian 7 XFCE from 6 recently. last night i was playing with OS and tried to clean up the OS by removing some of obsolete packages. But unfortunately I deleted the default login manager as well. So I reinstalled the login manager, first XDM, then GDM3. But somehow, the new login manager looks different than before, without the option of choosing different language (I’m bilingual). Also I lost the ability to automatically log into XFCE session.
So some questions:
What’s the default login manager for Debian 7 XFCE? Is it GDM3? How to setup the language selection at login screen?
How to configure to automatically login XFCE session being I’m the only user for the machine?
It's been a while, but I do believe that the default DM with Debian and XFCE is LightDM. Try reinstalling xfce-session if XFCE is not showing in the DM menu.

I think GDM3 is the one which allows automatic login and language selection and XDM asks for both username and password and is more basic. If you want to make GDM3 the login manager then try.
Code:
dpkg-reconfigure gdm3
(as root, of course)To set GDM3 as default and see whether that helps?

I found out that the GDM3 is the default windows login manager for Debian7, and gdm has been removed from Debian7. but i don't really like GDM3(very slow), so i went ahead and replaced it with LightDM, much better.
i still couldn't figure out how to set automatically login to XFCE Debian7 though, looked at session login settings but no help.

I use LightDM now also, for some reason GDM3 was removed during a dist-upgrade so I took the opportunity to change.
