public key not available?

after doing apt-get update lastnight I got an error complaining that it didn't have public key of somesort .. this morning after getting on irc I found the solution
Code:
gpg --keyserver subkeys.pgp.net --recv-keys 084750FC01A6D388A643D869010908312D230C5F ; gpg --export 084750FC01A6D388A643D869010908312D230C5F | sudo apt-key add -;
hope this helps out

I'm running Testing and the error I was getting was:

Code:
{snip}
Reading package lists... Done
W: GPG error: http://ftp.us.debian.org testing Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 010908312D230C5F
W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems
I did this to fix the problem:
Code:
# wget http://ftp-master.debian.org/ziyi_key_2006.asc -O - | apt-key add -
That link to ziyi_key_2006.asc is at the top of http://ftp-master.debian.org and the advice was from the debian-user mailing list.

that code example did not work for me, but the previous one did. It may however have something to do with the fact that I used sudo as opposed to being root
