There seems to be a new version of every program and language once a week. I find configuration programs reduce typographical errors. Your suggestion of using webmin is a helpful one although you would recommend writing httpd.conf yourself.
I plan to do continued reading to improving my coding abilities. I did try to write my own conf file in both 1.3 and 2.0 and the configuration was inconsistant for virtual hosting. Unless one lives a breathes computing, it is difficult to keep up-to-date on programming and hardware advancements. Using Debian on an old Compaq has made it run better than it has ever run before. So it is a benefit considering the original Windoze software crashed regularily. I will look for more of your posts.
