problems with Dbus post-install Debian stable amd64 netinst

hi there,

i have just installed squeeze on my laptop via a netinstall image and opted for a KDE desktop as its always been pretty bug-free for me.

on boot sometimes (about 30% of the time) the boot will throw a failed error with dbus, and then random things will fail (by which i mean different things each time) and it will completely stop at some point where i reboot and all is well.

possibly related is that consolekit sometimes failes and knetworkmanager fails every boot with

org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown" : " "The name org.kde.knetworkmanager was not provided by any .service files" "
help please?

Ok so the majority of problems are solved; I had to get DBus-genuuid to output to var/lib/DBus/machine-Id

But I still have extremely frequent errors in booting where at some point after avahi daemon and before hald (all I can gather) it starts looking for something with a call trace and anything I try to get it to do or it marries to do just freezes. Ideas?

dbus, debian, squeeze
