u could set it urself ?

if u know what it should be.

i think usually it should be

% echo $DISPLAY
:0.0

to set it in a bash shell,
% DISPLAY = :0.0

however this will only last till end of the current session

to set it permanently enter the command in

source $home/bash_profile
