IMHO there isn't much you can do, unless your machine is capable of handling the impact of installing KDE and it's gizmo's. It sure takes a lot of resources on your CPU (but so does Gnome, to be fair
) and space on your disks. Given you use XFCE, I doubt you would want that...
But perhaps I'm overlooking something. Quite possibly I do, as I'm a Gnome user
