Problem loading Runescape (Solved)

Ok heres the thing I have Kanotix/Debian Sid installed on my laptop and on my desktop. Both have all the current updates.

The biggest differences between the two are:
desktop has 512ram a 1.8athlon and Nvidia video card Runescape loads in Firefox no problem
laptop has 256ram 750 PIII and ATI Rage Runescape starts to load then freezes at "Loading Updates" Tried using Firefox, Konqueror and Opera same thing in all 3.

I have the Java cache turned off on both because of the fact that when RS releases and actual update it screws things up. Tried turning it on but change still won't load.

I am using the latest Sun Java on both. With most if not all of the same packages on both, other than the few laptop packages on the laptop.
java version "1.5.0_06"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_06-b05)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_06-b05, mixed mode, sharing)

Am I running into a memory issue? Running top doesn't show an abnormal of ram being used and even in KDE I still have around 60k free not counting cached.

Java console doesn't show any errors nor does Firefox if I run it from a terminal.

Thanks will try that. Doesn't seem like anyone in several forums has any idea whats going on, and I posted in several.

Can't be ram or the processor though because I can run a LiveCD on the laptop and play.

Desktop and laptop are both using Guarddog as my firewall gui with same settings. Tried with it disabled no go.

Both also have Bastille installed and the same settings as well.

Got it working!!!

Not sure exactly what did it. I ran GkDebconf and selected sun-jre and now it works. Weird.
