OK - fresh Debian Etch install and I don't think I installed CUPS. I did a very bare install and just loaded Gnome. When I go to "Desktop > Adminsitration > Printing", I get an error that says the CUPS server could not be contacted.
I assume that is because I don't have CUPS on this machine what so ever. Our CUPS server is on the LAN but not my work/desktop machine so my confusion is what do I need and where do I start?
Here is the obvious I would search for but I don't know what I need to communicate with my CUPS server on the LAN.
