Precompiled Kernel for Debian

Is there a package for precompiled kernel-source,kernel modules ,etc for debian available for download? I know that slackware provides such packages for each version.

"Precompiled kernel-source"...you mean a kernel you can install right away and run? Look here for different versions or the kernel-image packages.

http://http.us.debian.org/pool/main/k/

Or just type "dselect" as root and browse around which ones are available to you.

hello,
Link you supplied is not working(404 not found).Anyway I tried ibibio.org,went to the debian/pool folder and found kernel-image and kernel source for 2.4.22(latest stable-I believe) but no kernel modules.

apt-get is another way to get kernel package, but I don't see the latest kernel releases there. So try

#apt-get search kernel-image

or

#apt-get search kernel-source

Coldy I think you mean

# apt-cache search kernel-image
# apt-cache search kernel-source

So Debian has a precompiled 2.4.22 kernel image? Does it include the AGPGART modules for *all* the supported chipsets? I might just install Debian unstable on my nForce2 system if that's the case...
