ppp0: static IP Address


Dear All,

I am using my mobile broadband connection on my pc and the ifconfig details are as follows:

Please help me to get a static IP Address so that I can make it a server for hosting my website.

You cannot configure static ip address on your computer for ppp0 interface. If you want to host web server you'll have to ask your ISP (internet service provider) to assign it to you or you'll have to find some another solution like dynamic dns but i think it's not free anymore.
